Growing up, God to me was everything. Although very religious, I decided to get even closer to him by actually reading the entire Bible. I was appalled by a lot of what I saw there. Eventually, after much soul searching and researching, I became a non-believer. It's time for me to go back and make a final decision one way or the other. I would love to believe that when I die I will live again, that some thinking, feeling, remembering part of me will continue. But as much as I want to believe that, and despite the ancient and worldwide cultural traditions that assert an afterlife, I know of nothing to suggest that it is more than wishful thinking.
