Xianity is a reference to Christianity I’m assuming? What do you feel was the final straw in your decision to leave moderatism behind to become an atheist?
Growing up, God to me was everything. Although very religious, I decided to get even closer to him by actually reading the entire Bible. I was appalled by a lot of what I saw there. Eventually, after much soul searching and researching, I became a non-believer. It's time for me to go back and make a final decision one way or the other. There was no final straw, the process took years.I didn’t want to accept the label atheist for a long time, I had been raised to believe atheist=evil.Then I realized there was simply no evidence for God and no reason to keep up the charade of belief.
